Akron won the MAC Conference final on some crazy defense in overtime. Apparently Kent State didn't approve of the way the Zips were celebrating. And then all hell broke loose.
Heartbreaking loss by the Golden Flashes marred by misplaced emotions. These teams really hate each other.

The video clip you included with your post doesn't show it, but the reason why Kent State didn't approve of the Akron celebration was because a Kent State player was on the ground. The Golden Flashes thought Akron was going to injure their player who was down.
And we also didn't show (but should have) the one Akron player pleading with the Kent State players that it was an accident and to be cool.
