Mormons are f@*king things up!

Should Brigham Young have college sports? They can't play on Sundays (to the point that the NCAA Selection Committee has to make special provisions for them). They have a very strict Honor Code that essentially only Roman Catholic priests live by successfully. The main reason why BYU has college teams is to bring money and prestige to the school.

But some are thinking that one day the LDS Church is going to lose it's patience dealing with heathens and scrap the whole damn thing. Which would be a shame because good or bad the Cougs are very entertaining.

Notre Dame 94 - Providence 93

This game had all the trappings of another Notre Dame blowout until the final 3 minutes 54 seconds when then the Friars turned on the turbo drive. They managed to close a 10 point deficit in a matter of minutes but the Irish turned to one of the most lethal combos in the Big East to pull their asses out of the fire...

The Ben (Hansbrough) and Tim (Abromaitis) show once again took the wind out of an opponent's sails scoring 60 points in this contest. Yes, that is nearly 2/3rds of Notre Dame's total output. We repeat, two people were responsible for that. And those two girls went home sad.

Those whom are familiar with us know how much we loathe the NBA. Like really. Absolute mess of a sport with a bunch of me-first criminals. We really hope there is a lockout next year.

Church ballin'

This is an interesting story: Jimmer Fredette's older brother TJ was teaching Jimmer how to ball while working on his rap career.

Just go back a dozen years when TJ had Jimmer dribbling in the dark, or with a work glove on his hand, or through a darkened gauntlet in the church hallway filled with friends popping out of doorways to test Jimmer’s concentration.

Interesting techniques but hey, whatever works.
