How have you been spending the off season?

Reading about conference reorgs? Players behaving badly? Coaches behaving badly? Thankful that college football is here to bide the time? It's been eventful so far, however nothing will beat the summer of 2008 for off season shenanigans.

As for us will begin posting anew around the beginning of November. We usually post more during the summer and fall but we've been admittedly lazy this time around. And with Gabby welcoming a newborn in December it might be a little chaotic around here right at the start of the season.

Two more months to go. Just hang on.

We are sheep. Baaaaaaaa...

Everyone is doing a top moments of this tournament or top moments of the tournament in general. So here are our fav moments of this tourney:

1) The hat

Being in Las Vegas when San Diego State won the Mountain West Tournament outright for an automatic bid to the Dance. This will stick with us for years to come. Go Aztecs.

2) Kansas State / Xavier double overtime

Two overtimes because of ridiculous last second off balance three point shots to keep each team alive. The phrase "This is what it's all about" kept on being said at Gabby's house long after the game was over.

3) Kansas State / Butler

You had crying cheerleaders. Enough said!

4) Northern Iowa rocks the fucking world

This will be remembered as the defining moment of the tournament. Kansas. Kansas? UNI beat number one ranked KANSAS! After the game we turned to Mrs. March to Madness and said "Remember this moment. Tell your children about this moment. Tell your grandchildren about this moment. Make sure they never forget."

Are you kidding me?! Are we so terrible that opposing teams make bets against us before games??

University of Arizona sophomore forward Jamelle Horne was asked at the press conference if Wednesday’s victory over San Diego State carried any special meaning for him.

"You know, we even had a little wager on the game. So I’ll be going out to dinner, and my dinner will be paid for," Horne said.

Fuck me! Fisher, you better do something about this shit or else we are gonna be the laughing stock of the college basketball world just like our football team is.
