A Great White Hope?




So the Notre Dame faithful are once again wondering why the hell are they always out in the cold when the NCAA Tournament comes around? Some thoughtful editors at BlueandGold have a possible answer to this query. And believe it or not it's not coach Mike Brey's fault.

It's those damn Black kids fault!

Yes, ever since Michigan's Fab Five in 1991 college hoops has gotten darker and darker. And this has directly hurt the Fighting Irish because... well because people of African descent haven't been particularly flocking to that school.

See, Notre Dame doesn't have the street cred of say a Georgetown. Or a Duke. Bottom line is that the Irish are just too freaking White.

And according to the article they don't even bring up academics. As if that has anything to do with it.
