The 2010 M2M College Hoops Preview: In Pictures

"Surely, I have made my meaning plain. I mean to avenge myself upon you, Admiral. I deprived your ship of power, and when I swing around, I mean to deprive you of your life."

Gonzaga: This is personal. We play you tomorrow. We need a signature win. You can give us that. So yes, we would like to be that Bulldog in the picture. And no, we don't mean for pleasurable reasons. Come Wednesday we'll love you again.

The 2010 M2M College Hoops Preview: In Pictures

"Is this it? That's what it's all about, Manny? Eating, drinking, fucking, sucking? Snorting? Then what? You're 50. You got a bag for a belly. You got tits, you need a bra. They got hair on them. You got a liver, they got spots on it, and you're eating this fuckin' shit, looking like these rich fucking mummies in here..."

Gone are the heady days of Dee Brown for the Fighting Illini of Illinois. But this is the year we feel they will go deep into the post season. C'mon, they had virtually no personnel losses from a respectable squad last season. This was a team that took it to Michigan State and almost toppled over Gonzaga in overtime. Call it a hunch. A Tony Montana hunch.

Billy Costigan: "Frank, how many of these guys have been with you long enough to be disgruntled, huh? Think about it. You don't pay much, you know. It's almost a fuckin' feudal enterprise. The question is, and this is the only question, who thinks that they can do what you do better than you?"
Frank Costello: "The only one that can do what I do is me. Lot of people had to die for me to be me. You wanna be me?"

We can all say 2008-2009 was the season of "facepalm" for Roy Williams and his UNC Tar Heels. Williams has a great incoming class this year but usually they take about a year to develop. We're thinking NIT again or best case scenario an exit in the second round of the NCAA Tourney.

The 2010 M2M College Hoops Preview: In Pictures

"All right George, can I tell you something? We're gonna win this thing. We're gonna get the votes we need and we're gonna win this thing. And you know what I'm gonna do after that, I mean that very night, I'm gonna go to Sam & Harry's, I'm gonna order a big steak, and I'm gonna make a list of everybody who tried to fuck us..."

Fear the Beard? Not this time around. Kansas State is going to be good, oh very good. But Jacob Pullen, aka Batman is missing a few "Robins" going into this season. A bit short of Final Four material unfortunately.

The 2010 M2M College Hoops Preview: In Pictures

Michael: "My credit good enough to buy you out?"
Moe Greene: "Buy me out?"
Michael: "The hotel, the casino. The Corleone Family wants to buy you out."
Moe Greene: "The Corleone Family wants to buy me out? No, I buy you out, you don't buy me out."

After flirting with LeBron James it seems Michigan State has coach Tom Izzo back in East Lansing for now, and the Spartans are loaded. But will anything less than a National Championship be Izzo's swan song? Does anyone even care about Raymar Morgan?

The 2010 M2M College Hoops Preview: In Pictures

"A pinch is a device which creates, like, a cardiac arrest for any broadband electrical circuitry. Better yet, a pinch is a bomb - now, but without the bomb. See, when a nuclear weapon detonates, it unleashes an electromagnetic pulse which shuts down any power source within its blast radius. Now that tends not to matter in most cases, because the nuclear weapon usually destroys anything you might need power for anyway. But see, a pinch creates a similar electromagnetic pulse, but without the fuss of mass destruction and death. So instead of Hiroshima, you'd be getting the seventeenth century."

Face it: They have pretty much everyone back. And if you think the Plumlee brothers were good last year they will be even better this year. Expect Duke's defense to "pinch" the competition but always, always keep in mind their self destructive nature.

Tears Of Unfathomable Sadness

"In life, you can't just get married to the first girl you meet. You have to see if its right."
- Myck Kabongo

And with that Kabongo, Texas's only five star basketball recruit dumps the Longhorns:

Their football team is currently going through The Season Of Despair(tm) and now this. The days of Kevin Durant seem so far away. Oh, I believe in yesterday...
