One way to past the time

Three Oregon Ducks basketball players have been cited for duck on duck violence.

Police ticketed three freshmen Ducks basketball players Monday night on suspicion of shooting pellet guns at ducks and geese in Alton Baker Park.

Police received a report of three men shooting in Alton Baker Park at 11:08 p.m. Monday night. Officers arrived and watched the trio shoot about 20 rounds from what was determined to be a pellet gun.

The three headed towards the restrooms, and officers saw Dunagin throw up his hands, followed by a splash. Officers later recovered a gun from the pond. Two other pellet guns were located elsewhere, police said. Police are holding the two Powerline brand guns and a Crosman brand gun as evidence.

Hey kids, don't take out your frustrations about a craptacular season on those poor animals!

Playing at their level

Start spreading the news...

We mentioned previously that the Mountain West should not play in the NCAA Tournament because of the vast talent differential, and it looks like that is playing out. BYU and Utah are sitting on their hands at home after being beaten in the first round of March Madness while SDSU is in the final four of the NIT.

Maybe next year we should not accept a bid to be in the big dance but instead ask the NIT folks to place all (or most) of the MWC teams.

Dedicated to Villanova

Go Catholics!

Busted

Busted Bracket (M2M definition): When either of the two teams you predicted to be in the championship game lose.

And we're done. But not done watching the rest of the madness!

3, 2, 1

Today, 3s against 1s.

Tomorrow, 2s against 1s.

Someone must fall.

Check out time

Some get evicted from their hotels during March Madness.

Others do not. Like UConn's Hasheem Thabeet.

Happy Friday.

Sing it James Brown

"This is a Big East world! This is a Big East world! But it would be nothing, nothing without an ACC team to care."

We are still looking ok. Some damage was done (Duke got ass whipped). But all in all, pretty solid. And how about that Missouri / Memphis game? You had frustrated Memphis fan from watching all those missed 3s, crying Memphis players after the game... Now that's college hoops! At least there were some happy people.
